Privacy
Different activities involve different data and service providers. The text should be read together with the Cookies and Local Storage notice and the privacy information shown by any third-party provider.
What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy describes the data involved when visitors browse Luako, use AI chat, sign in, manage character-related preferences, contact support or purchase a feature. Different activities involve different data and service providers. The text should be read together with the Cookies and Local Storage notice and the privacy information shown by any third-party provider.
Information used to operate Luako
Depending on your actions, the service may process account and session identifiers, necessary technical request information, feature-use counters, payment status and the content you actively submit to support. Public pages may be viewed without an account where the interface permits. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information in prompts, feedback or character descriptions.
Information saved in your browser
Some chat history, favorites, language choices, interface preferences and character-creation materials are stored locally in your browser. Clearing browser storage, switching devices or using a private window can remove locally held information. Locally stored data is not automatically a cloud backup; check the relevant feature before relying on persistence.
How AI conversations work
When you send a message in an AI conversation, its text and relevant character context may be sent through the Luako service API to an AI-processing provider so a response can be generated. Sending a message therefore involves processing beyond your device. Some conversation history may be saved in your browser; that does not mean the API, hosting systems or AI provider have no temporary processing records or operational logs. Retention can differ between browser data, account information, support submissions and provider systems. For questions about a particular interaction or a data request, contact Luako through Feedback.
Accounts and external services
If you choose an available external sign-in method, such as Google, the authentication provider may process information according to its own policies. Backend services may use account identifiers, session data and feature-use counters to maintain access and enforce limits. Do not assume a third-party provider follows the same storage or retention rules as your browser.
Payments and feedback
A purchase may involve a separate payment processor or blockchain network. The platform may use the information needed to recognize the payment and activate access; transaction activity on a public blockchain can be visible independently of Luako. Messages and attachments you intentionally submit through Feedback may be reviewed to respond to requests or investigate problems.
Purposes and responsible disclosure
Information associated with a feature may be used to deliver requested pages and AI replies, support authentication, preserve selected preferences, process payment confirmations, answer messages, investigate abuse and maintain service security. Depending on the actual activity and applicable law, processing may rely on performing a requested service, a legal obligation, legitimate interests such as security, or consent where consent is required. Relevant data may be handled by hosting, authentication, AI-processing, payment and support providers. This description does not mean all providers receive every category of data. To ask which provider or legal basis applies to a particular interaction, use Luako Feedback; any rights to more specific disclosure under applicable law remain in force.
Retention and security
Information held only in your browser can remain until you or the browser delete it; clearing it may remove favorites, preferences, drafts or local conversation history. Account and authentication records, submitted Feedback, payment confirmation records and technical logs follow different retention rules depending on their purpose, the relevant provider and applicable legal obligations. No single retention period applies to every category. When information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it is lawfully retained, it should be deleted or anonymized as required by applicable law. Browser deletion does not necessarily remove provider-side records. Security measures reduce risk, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain personal data, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where processing depends on it, or complain to a supervisory authority. You can usually manage browser-stored information using your browser settings, but this does not automatically delete records held by a provider. Requests can be submitted through Feedback; identification and lawful exceptions may apply.
Contact and updates
The Luako Feedback page is the website’s contact channel for questions about this Privacy Policy and requests to access, correct, delete, export or otherwise exercise rights in personal data, where applicable. Describe the request and the relevant account or activity; include a reply method if needed and one is not already available through your account. We may ask for proportionate verification before disclosing or changing personal information. Do not send passwords, wallet recovery phrases, private keys or more personal data than the request requires. You may also contact a competent data-protection authority where you have that right. The use of Feedback does not limit statutory rights or replace disclosures required by applicable law. For any question, personal-data request, copyright or other rights report, appeal, account issue or payment inquiry, use the Feedback page on Luako. Describe the issue and provide the relevant URL or transaction reference; if you need a reply and your account does not provide a reply channel, include a suitable way to contact you. Do not submit passwords, recovery phrases or private keys.
