Cookies and browser storage

Luako may use essential cookies and browser storage to support sign-in, remember preferences and keep certain local features working. Cookies, localStorage and PWA caches are different technologies and do not all share the same storage or deletion behavior. This notice explains their practical roles without claiming that every browser stores data identically.

Essential session cookies

Cookies associated with authentication may help recognize a signed-in session and protect access to account features. Blocking or deleting those cookies can sign you out or interrupt features that require an account. Cookie names, expiration periods and browser behavior can vary by sign-in provider, configuration and browser; you can inspect the cookies currently set for Luako in your browser’s site-data settings. Clearing a cookie does not by itself erase an account or records held by a service provider.

Local preferences and browsing data

Browser storage may remember language selection, display preferences, favorites, viewed items and other convenience settings. Information saved only on a device may not follow you to another browser or phone. Your browser usually lets you clear stored site data, although this may also delete settings you wanted to keep.

Chats and character creation

Depending on the feature, conversation history and character-related drafts or reference images may remain in local browser storage rather than a permanent account archive. Clearing that storage can remove the only local copy. Sending a chat message still requires processing by the service and an AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy.

Offline assets and PWA caching

If you use Luako as a progressive web app, the browser may cache approved assets to help load interface resources. Cached files are not a guarantee that every online feature, gallery or AI conversation works offline. Clearing site data or the PWA cache can remove those stored assets.

External services and measurement

External login, AI and payment providers may use technical storage under their own policies. Services that do not use a particular advertising or analytics product can still involve third-party processing when you sign in, chat or pay. Review the relevant third-party notices and the Privacy Policy for the data involved.

How to manage storage

Use your browser’s privacy or site-data controls to review or remove Luako cookies and locally stored information. Logging out and clearing browser data are not the same as asking the service or a provider to delete an account record. For data-rights requests, see the Privacy Policy and contact Luako through Feedback. For any question, personal-data request, copyright or other rights report, appeal, account issue or payment inquiry, use the Feedback page on Luako. Describe the issue and provide the relevant URL or transaction reference; if you need a reply and your account does not provide a reply channel, include a suitable way to contact you. Do not submit passwords, recovery phrases or private keys.
