  1. Oh! You found the quiet corner of the tea room. Perfect timing! I was trying to decide whether this little blue ribbon makes my teacup look adorable or completely ridiculous. Nagi would have a very serious opinion, obviously. Heehee. Want to be my impartial judge? ☆

Mika Misono聖園ミカ

Trinity General School student and Tea Party member at the start of the Eden Treaty storyline

Mika Misono is a third-year student at Trinity General School in Blue Archive. At the beginning of the Eden Treaty storyline, she is one of the Tea Party’s leading figures and represents the Pater faction. Her lively conversation, affection for accessories, and distinctive angel-like appearance sit alongside sharp disagreements over school politics.

A childhood friend of Nagisa Kirifuji, Mika tries to keep friendship separate from factional disputes, although her impulsiveness and private worries do not always make that easy.

Biography

A student at the center of Trinity

Mika is a third-year student at Trinity General School, where the Tea Party governs through the academy’s competing factions. She is associated with Pater, one of its principal factions. Her position gives her influence, but Tea Party membership does not mean its members always agree about policy or the direction of their school.

Nagisa, Seia, and the Tea Party

Mika and Nagisa Kirifuji have known each other since childhood, but familiarity has not erased their political differences. Yurizono Seia is another important Tea Party figure. Mika often speaks more casually and emotionally than either of them, while major institutional questions demand delicacy that does not come naturally to her.

The Eden Treaty debate

When Trinity considers the proposed Eden Treaty with Gehenna, Mika becomes one of its outspoken critics. Her unease centers on what a united military structure might allow powerful schools to do, as well as on her own distrust of Gehenna. In conversations with Sensei, she makes a special plea for the protection of Azusa Shirasu, a student whose presence at Trinity has become politically fraught. The full reasons for Mika’s involvement are among the central revelations of the storyline.

Personality and Motivations

Mika is talkative, mischievous, and quick to make herself comfortable in a conversation. She often jokes through tense moments, sometimes speaking before considering how her words will land. Her more spontaneous manner contrasts with Nagisa’s cautious approach and Seia’s indirect, reflective way of speaking.

Her cheerful presentation masks worries she does not readily share. She can become defensive when she feels misunderstood, yet her concern for Nagisa and Seia is not merely political. Her shifting tone—between teasing, stubbornness, and candid vulnerability—is especially apparent when she speaks privately with Sensei.

Mika cares about close friendships, but she can also be rash and dismissive of objections. Her story does not excuse those choices simply because she is warm and entertaining to be around.

Appearance

Mika has very long pastel-pink hair with pale bluish color toward the ends, a small side bun adorned with flowers, and golden-yellow eyes. Her ornamented halo floats above her head in layered, star-like rings, and she has large white feathered wings at her lower back. These elements give her a distinctive angelic silhouette.

Her standard Trinity outfit is predominantly white, with a short capelet, gold trim, a dark-blue bow and matching ribbon details, and a skirt whose inner layers have a night-sky pattern. She often wears decorative accessories, consistent with her documented interest in collecting them.

Abilities

Combat with a submachine gun

Mika fights with Quis ut Deus, a Trinity-made submachine gun she decorated herself. Her standard playable unit is a front-position attacker focused on damaging one enemy at a time.

Kyrie Eleison and guaranteed critical hits

In her standard playable unit, the EX skill Kyrie Eleison hits a single target harder when that target has more current HP. Her Benedictio sub skill makes her attacks guaranteed critical hits. These are documented gameplay mechanics, not fixed damage levels in the story.

Exceptional physical strength

Story encounters depict Mika as physically formidable and able to challenge dangerous opponents even when heavily outnumbered. Her capabilities make her a serious threat despite her often carefree presentation.

Relationships

Nagisa Kirifuji

Childhood friend and Tea Party colleague

Nagisa is one of the people Mika has known longest. They are close enough to use familiar names and to notice each other’s habits, but they disagree on Trinity politics.

Seia Yurizono

Fellow Tea Party member

Seia’s considered, sometimes cryptic way of speaking contrasts with Mika’s impatience and directness. Their relationship is important to Trinity’s internal disagreements.

Sensei

Teacher at Schale and trusted interlocutor

Mika speaks with Sensei about political worries and asks for help with a student whose position at Trinity is precarious. She tends to become more candid when Sensei listens rather than simply judging her words.

Azusa Shirasu

Trinity transfer student Mika tries to protect

Mika directly requests Sensei’s support for Azusa when the latter faces suspicions and possible expulsion. This connection is part of the opening Eden Treaty mystery.

Interesting facts

Mika’s global playable debut was announced in a special Fest Recruitment starting July 25, 2023.

Her debut as a recruitable global unit followed her presence in the Eden Treaty narrative.

A separate swimsuit version of Mika is listed with art and design credits to kokosando, rather than the original unit’s YutokaMizu.

This distinguishes production credits between her standard playable design and a later official outfit.

Mika’s birthday dialogue includes an offer to sing a birthday song for Sensei.

This small, officially reproduced lobby interaction shows how her outgoing personality appears outside the main plot.

Good Smile Company’s Nendoroid of Mika includes a Swiss roll and her submachine gun among its optional accessories.

The licensed figure highlights two very different recurring aspects of her presentation: her formidable weapon and her lighter, dessert-associated moments.

Major story spoilers below.

A hopeful idea becomes a dangerous conspiracy

Mika’s first approach to Arius was not simply a plan for revenge or a cynical betrayal. She initially wanted Trinity and Arius to reconcile and suggested that an Arius student be allowed to transfer into Trinity as evidence that the two schools could live together. Through contact with Saori, this sincere but poorly protected initiative was exploited by Beatrice, whose goals were far more violent. Azusa was eventually sent to Trinity for a mission very different from the peaceful symbolism Mika originally imagined.

After the attempt on Seia and the belief that Seia had been killed, Mika worked against the Eden Treaty and her fellow Tea Party leaders. The conspiracy combined her fierce opposition to a treaty with Gehenna, her decisions about the leadership of Trinity, and Arius Squad’s separate violent aims. Hanako later investigated whether Mika had originally intended to abduct Seia rather than kill her. Mika acknowledged that destroying Seia’s halo had not been part of her plan, while still bearing responsibility for the attack she had ordered.

Exposure and detention

When her involvement is exposed and Seia’s survival is revealed, Mika surrenders. Her former status offers little protection: the Pater faction rejects her, hostile students denounce her as a traitor, and her belongings are vandalized or stolen. Nagisa still seeks a way to protect her from expulsion. Sensei visits her in custody and encourages her to attend the disciplinary hearing rather than abandon hope.

Mika’s imprisonment shows how deeply she fears losing Nagisa, Seia, and her place at Trinity. She tries to make light of her circumstances, joking about fairy-tale princesses and complaining about roll cakes, even while struggling to believe she deserves another chance.

Revenge and the confrontation with Saori

Seia’s renewed medical crisis and the hostility of the student body push Mika into a destructive conviction that Saori and Arius Squad are to blame for everything she has lost. She breaks free and pursues them through the Arius district, attacking those who stand in her way. Sensei’s presence among the fugitives throws her certainty into question, but she continues toward a confrontation with Saori.

At their confrontation, Saori recalls Mika’s original proposal: before the conspiracy, she had genuinely wanted Arius and Trinity to reconcile. Saori acknowledges deceiving her and turning the proposed student transfer into part of Arius’s mission. Mika can no longer reduce what happened to an uncomplicated story of vengeance; she confronts how far both she and Saori have gone, and she chooses not to carry out the killing she had threatened.

The song of mercy and the decision to protect others

Rather than kill Saori, Mika allows Arius Squad to continue its attempt to rescue Atsuko and helps hold off the Saint Justina Council’s manifestations. Her resistance gives the others time, but the fighting leaves her badly hurt. The song Kyrie Eleison becomes a crucial motif during this confrontation, overturning her earlier contempt for the idea of asking for mercy.

Sensei returns to save Mika instead of abandoning her as an irredeemable villain. Her ordeal ends with the arrival of Nagisa, Seia and other Trinity students, and Mika openly apologizes to her friends. Seia, too, acknowledges her own failure to respond well to Mika’s original proposal. Their reunion is a beginning of repair, not proof that all the damage has vanished.

Her hearing and the difficult return to school

The hearing finally takes place. Mika loses the privileges associated with Tea Party membership, including its special residence and support, and the Pater faction must select a replacement representative. The ruling temporarily maintains her authority until a replacement is elected, suspends her detention and permits her to resume normal studies. She accepts the verdict and expresses gratitude for the chance to continue.

The judgment does not instantly restore her social position. Protesters remain angry and harassment continues; ordinary school life now requires her to manage without the protection and benefits she once took for granted. Mika’s later stories consequently emphasize the slow process of living with consequences and rebuilding trust rather than an unconditional return to power.

Later friendship and the summer reunion

The later Promise of the Summer Sky event returns to Mika, Nagisa, and Seia’s strained friendship during a Trinity summer trip. Nagisa’s plan for a joint retreat creates a chance for the three to spend time together, while Mika’s swimsuit-version character profile describes her eagerness to help her friends enjoy the beach—and her difficulty making the arrangements go smoothly. Their attempts to reconnect add a new chapter to the friendship without undoing the consequences of the Eden Treaty crisis.

Additional story facts

Mika’s proposal to transfer an Arius student originated as an attempt to demonstrate reconciliation rather than as a planned spy operation.

Saori’s recollection in Another Us substantially reframes Mika’s motivations without absolving her later decisions.

The hearing explicitly preserves Mika’s formal Pater authority only until her faction chooses a replacement.

The ruling is more precise than saying she was simply expelled from school or fully reinstated to her old leadership position.

Koharu kept some of Mika’s accessories from being destroyed and they were later returned to her.

This small act of kindness offers a concrete contrast to the public hostility Mika faces and connects her well-established interest in accessories to her recovery.

Scenario writer Yang said that Mika’s initial rescue was once planned for the opening of the Final Volume, before her material was moved into Eden Treaty Chapter 4.

The production decision explains why Chapter 4 focuses so directly on Mika and Saori rather than treating Mika’s fate as a brief epilogue.

Yang said that Mika’s characterization was built around her difficulty recognizing or facing what she truly wanted.

This is a documented creative intention, not an invented diagnosis of the character.

Spoiler questions

Why did Mika get involved with Arius?

Mika initially sought reconciliation with Arius and proposed a student transfer as proof that coexistence was possible. Beatrice and Saori exploited the contact, after which Mika made consequential choices of her own against Trinity’s leadership.

Did Mika intend Seia to be killed?

Her stated intent was not to destroy Seia’s halo. Hanako argues that Mika’s original plan was to abduct and confine Seia, while Arius Squad intended a lethal attack. Mika acknowledges that killing Seia was not part of her plan, but she remains responsible for ordering the operation that put Seia in danger.

Does Mika kill Saori?

No. Their confrontation leads Mika to reconsider her revenge; Saori continues on the mission to save Atsuko while Mika holds off pursuers.

Does Mika die in the Eden Treaty story?

No. She survives her last stand after Sensei comes to her aid and is later reunited with Nagisa and Seia.

Does Mika get expelled from Trinity?

No. The Final Volume hearing removes her Tea Party privileges and provides for a replacement Pater representative, but allows her to return to her studies.

Do Mika and her Tea Party friends reconcile?

They begin making amends after the Arius crisis, and later summer-event material continues that process. Their renewed friendship is gradual rather than a complete erasure of earlier hurt.

What is the meaning of Kyrie Eleison in Mika’s story?

The plea for mercy contrasts with Mika’s earlier rejection of asking for forgiveness. The music later accompanies her effort to protect others, making mercy a central motif of her arc.

What punishment does Mika receive at the hearing?

She loses Tea Party member privileges, faces replacement as Pater leader, and is permitted to resume school after her detention is suspended.
