Elegg일레그
Leader of Electric Shock; specialist in energy efficiency and the Ark’s electrical infrastructure
Elegg is the outgoing leader of Electric Shock, a Missilis Industry Nikke squad responsible for electrical infrastructure in GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE. An expert in power-system efficiency, she is just as eager to install BOOM, her beloved retro first-person shooter, on any screen she can find. Her easy jokes and mischievous tinkering sit alongside the demanding work of keeping the Ark running—and her concern for her more withdrawn squadmate, Trony.
Biography
Electric Shock and the Ark’s power systems
Elegg heads Electric Shock, the Missilis squad involved in developing and maintaining the Ark’s electrical infrastructure. She is especially skilled at adjusting energy efficiency, and the squad’s work includes the power-conversion equipment needed to keep that infrastructure functioning. Her fondness for retro games makes even a routine maintenance call lively, but the systems she works on are essential to life underground.
An engineer who makes time for BOOM
Her signature hobby is BOOM, a compact, old-school first-person shooter. Elegg treats the presence of a screen as an invitation to get the game running. During an early surface assignment, she repairs the Commander’s worn operation device and cannot resist adding BOOM, much to the surprise of the people around her.
She is not simply looking for excuses to play. Her delight in making a compact game run on unlikely hardware is an extension of a serious interest in electronics. The same curiosity that prompts her to open up an old device also helps her investigate unfamiliar electrical behavior—although other squad members do not always welcome an unexpected game installation.
The friend behind the workshop door
Elegg’s fellow Electric Shock specialist Trony is quieter and more withdrawn, and the two share a close friendship and an interest in games. When Trony isolates herself, Elegg struggles to find the right words but continues trying to reach her. The BOOMS DAY event begins with Elegg hoping they can attend the Ark Gaming Expo together.
Personality and Motivations
Elegg is upbeat, inquisitive, animated, and comfortably eccentric. She speaks with informal enthusiasm, loves a good game, and can switch quickly from a technical explanation to a BOOM-related joke. Her impulsiveness sometimes irritates teammates who would prefer their displays remain untouched.
Her curiosity has substance: unfamiliar electrical phenomena genuinely fascinate her, and she is capable of careful observation when a job calls for it. Under pressure, her nervousness is visible rather than concealed behind a perfect heroic facade.
She is also more considerate than her antics first suggest. Trony’s distress matters to her, and Elegg keeps trying to support her without treating technical work as a substitute for friendship. Her optimism is strongest when it gives someone a reason to keep going.
Appearance
Elegg wears her short, light-blonde hair with heavy bangs that conceal her eyes; a small fang-like tooth shows when she grins. Her design pairs a white cropped top and short shorts with a roomy yellow-and-white jacket, dark trim, industrial-style gloves, and utility accessories. The large yellow Boom Gun machine gun complements the workshop-inspired look.

Relationships
Trony
Squadmate and close friend
A fellow Electric Shock engineer whose reserved nature contrasts with Elegg’s exuberance. Elegg makes sustained efforts to reconnect with her when she withdraws.
Commander
Mission collaborator
Works with the Commander on technical problems and operations. Their interactions mix trust, practical assistance, and occasional BOOM-related mischief.
Exia
Gaming acquaintance and collaborator
A fellow gamer who interacts with Elegg and her circle during the Ark Gaming Expo and later events.
Maiden
Gaming companion
A fellow gamer who joins Elegg, Exia, and others for cooperative play. Elegg approaches her with the same unguarded friendliness she brings to her gaming circle.
Syuen
Missilis executive and superior
Syuen heads Missilis Industry and has authority over Electric Shock. The pressure she places on the squad during electrical-supply problems strains its working conditions.
Interesting facts
In a main-story scene, Elegg describes BOOM as a full game only 28 megabytes in size.
That unusually small in-world figure explains why she is so confident she can get it running on compact displays.
Elegg’s original recruitable version entered NIKKE with the February 22, 2024 update.
It anchors her introduction to the BOOMS DAY event and the concurrent story content.
After Elegg installs BOOM on the Commander’s repaired device, she reveals that she has also installed it on Rapi’s weapon-adjustment screen; Rapi promptly asks her to remove it.
The exchange supplies a concrete example of her zeal for finding screens that can run the game—and how it clashes with a teammate’s practical concerns.
When the team encounters even a shallow puddle during the Crystal Region expedition, Elegg asks Hammering to carry her across because electronic equipment is vulnerable to water.
The small interruption gives her technical concerns a comic, practical consequence while showing the easygoing teamwork of the exploration party.

Major story spoilers below.
BOOMS DAY: a friendship tested by the Ark’s power
During BOOMS DAY, Electric Shock’s converter helps manage a frightening problem with the Ark’s electrical supply. Trony has seen something about the underlying power source that leaves her terrified and increasingly isolated. Elegg’s attempts to reach her are complicated by demands from Missilis management and the urgent need to deal with recurring outages.
The two ultimately cooperate to repair the system, and Trony is able to tell Elegg more about what has been haunting her. Their renewed partnership culminates in a trip to the Ark Gaming Expo. They also discuss the danger of relying on a power source they do not truly understand and resolve to seek a different way to power the Ark, potentially beyond it.
D.ARK HERO: the cost of knowing too much
The scrutiny around Electric Shock intensifies in D.ARK HERO. Accusations of terrorism lead to Elegg’s capture and interrogation at an M.M.R.-related facility, while Trony faces an agonizing choice over whether to rescue her. Exia, the Commander, and Maiden become involved in the attempt to save the squadmates.
After a grueling interrogation, Elegg accepts the false accusations against herself in hopes of shielding Trony, even trying to drive Maiden away rather than endanger another friend. Trony nevertheless takes the risk of reaching her, aided by the Commander and Exia. Maiden’s involvement is especially painful: the bond formed through gaming collides with her orders as an Extrinsic Nikke.
Crystal Region: the scientist on an unfamiliar surface
In Chapter 27, Elegg joins a temporary exploration team with Liveryn, Hammering, and the Commander’s group to investigate mysterious crystals in the Crystal Region. Her understanding of power allows her to notice how the crystals interact with electricity, while her curiosity pushes her toward further examination despite mounting uncertainty.
The expedition becomes far more dangerous than expected. In Chapter 29, Elegg is separated from companions during an escape and shelters in a building, where the rescue team eventually finds her. Her reunion with Trony shows how much their friendship has endured. She then helps analyze how the crystals collect and channel energy.
A giant Harmony Cube and a promise about the sky
In Chapter 30, Elegg and Trony identify an enormous Harmony Cube and reason that the crystal network is concentrating electricity around the system. The discovery raises questions about what—or who—is trying to build there. After the expedition, Elegg is disappointed that the team has not found a safe alternative power source, but tells Trony she will not give up on showing people the real sky.
BOOM! THE GHOST: the mystery of the Utopia
In BOOM! THE GHOST, Elegg investigates the abandoned luxury liner Utopia, whose lights remain on despite the ship’s extraordinary age. Strange encounters lead the party to devise the BFG, a device that can collect the apparent apparitions. Many of the threats are linked to the ship’s holographic technology, although not every manifestation is so easily explained.
In the continuation, the group helps the ship’s AI, Alfred, recover control and uncover the Utopia’s history. The anomalous hologram of Maya, a Nikke who once stayed with Alfred, has a special emotional significance for Dorothy. Elegg suggests residual NIMPH data as a possible explanation, but treats that idea as a hypothesis, not a solved mystery. When asked to erase Maya, she cannot bring herself to do it while Dorothy pleads for more time.
A massive Rapture is eventually found occupying the Utopia’s power source. Elegg helps improve core efficiency and upgrade its generators, extending the ship’s capacity to complete its final voyage without pretending that its aging systems can continue indefinitely.
Chapter 45: an emergency blackout and a worsening deadline
In Chapter 45, Elegg and Trony take part in a covert plan to shut down the Ark’s power for one hour to help counter Sixo. They accompany the Commander to the hidden source: a vast, first-generation Rapture core fueled by biological material. Elegg explains how to interrupt its supply and force the converter to shut it down, while warning that leaving it offline too long could permanently damage it.
They carry out the timed shutdown, but the restarted core fails to return to its previous output. In a briefing to the Ark’s leadership, Elegg says its power has fallen to roughly one-fifth of its former level and is still declining. At the observed rate, the source could fail in approximately six months; Trony warns that greater instability could bring failure sooner. This is their projection at that point in an ongoing story, not an established final outcome.
Additional story facts
Trony’s customized gamepad can remotely install BOOM on nearby electronic devices.
During D.ARK HERO, their shared gaming obsession becomes an unexpected technical asset in a serious rescue.
Elegg considers residual NIMPH data interacting with the Utopia’s hologram generators as an explanation for Maya’s inexplicable appearance, but explicitly presents it as an unproven theory.
The distinction matters because the story establishes the ship’s holographic machinery without supplying a definitive explanation for this particular projection.
Spoiler questions
What happens to Elegg in D.ARK HERO?
Elegg is captured and interrogated amid false accusations against Electric Shock, but Trony and allies undertake a rescue that restores their connection.
Does Elegg survive the Crystal Region mission?
Yes. The Commander’s rescue party finds her alive after she becomes separated during the dangerous expedition.
What does Elegg discover about the Crystal Region?
She investigates how the crystals collect electricity and, together with Trony, identifies a huge Harmony Cube connected to the area’s power use.
Are the ghosts in BOOM! THE GHOST real spirits?
Many of the apparitions are produced by the Utopia’s holographic systems. Maya’s unusual manifestation is less certain: Elegg proposes a possible NIMPH-related mechanism but cannot confirm it, so the story does not offer a simple explanation for every eerie event.
What does Elegg reveal in Chapter 45?
Elegg and Trony help execute a covert shutdown of the Ark’s power source to counter Sixo. When they restart it, output reaches only about 20 percent of its former level and continues falling. They warn leadership that it could fail in roughly six months if conditions remain unchanged—and sooner if the decline accelerates.
